FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 12, 2021
The Peninsula Home‐Based Business Network is excited to announce that T‐Mobile has joined as a sponsor for the 2021 Home‐Based Business Virtual Lunch & Learn Series and Annual Conference.
T‐Mobile will be offering a new sweepstakes as part of their sponsorship. Each time participants attend one of the seven monthly Lunch & Learn sessions, they will be given a link to enter into a drawing for a chance to win a $1,500 Best Buy gift card courtesy of T‐Mobile! The drawing will be held during the final Lunch & Learn of the year on September 8, 2021. The more sessions attended, the more chances to win!
And what home‐based business owner doesn’t need a vacation? T‐Mobile will also be offering a new “Getaway Your Way” sweepstakes, as part of the annual Home‐Based Business Conference. Attendees at this year’s virtual conference, planned for Wednesday, October 13, 2021, can also click to enter into a drawing for a $2,000 Delta Airlines travel voucher!
The next Home‐Based Business Lunch & Learn is Wednesday, April 14 at noon. Register to attend Review, Reimagine & Reignite featuring Marla Schuchman of Made in 757. This session is free, but requires registration.
Each session will include a keynote speaker and Q&A, as well as virtual networking, if time allows. This series will continue on the second Wednesday of each month through September.
The Home‐Based Business Virtual Lunch and Learn Series is presented by York County, Williamsburg, James City County, Poquoson, Gloucester County, Newport News and Hampton. T‐Mobile is the 2021 sponsor.

The Home‐Based Business Conference and its related Lunch & Learn Series began as programs of the York County Economic Development Office, in partnership with the York County Chamber of Commerce. County representatives learned that two‐thirds of York County’s businesses are home‐based, a trend that is growing both locally and nationally. In 2018, all six neighboring localities joined together to cohost the conference and lunch & learn series. This strategic partnership, now dubbed the Peninsula Home‐based Business Network, allows these nationally award‐winning home‐based initiatives to reach and assist more local business owners.
